That title sounds like a sale flyer from the local department store doesn't it? I've been innundated lately with baby announcements. Seven of them! 5 girls and 2 boys is the current count. So here's what i've got pulled from the pile to work with. This bright daisy top is kinda big for a baby quilt, but its an option if i need it.
This butterfly fish one was a mystery top from a couple years ago. I think i'll use it for a high school friend who's adopting. Her baby girl was supposed to be born yesterday.
This is my first stack and whack quilt. Its going to go to my little cousin and his wife for thier first baby who's due on my birthday in July.
This was another mystery top. I'm going to give this one to my niece that was born in Nov. My sis said she had lots of blankets so i was not in a hurry to get it done but this one is a little bigger than most of my baby quilts and i think it will work for a while longer now that Mia is starting to outgrow all the "baby" blankets she got.
This one is for a baby that was born last July. Can you guess the date by the colors? I dont have much contact with this family anymore since we dont live close but i used to baby sit this little guy's mom and i've known her since about forever.
I've got turning 20 tops cut out for the other 2 girls. One is all ballet/dance fabrics for my kids' dance teacher who's due in June. The other is John Deere fabrics(even the new pink ones) for a gal who is due in May i think. Her family had a farm near dad's (still does) and she and her husband now farm too.
The little boy quilt i still need to make is for my little brother. They are expecting in August and i need to think a little harder on what i want to do for that baby.

Do you still have the pattern for the mystery quilt you did in purple and lavendar? The star with the ribbon around it?
